This year’s Kid’s Zone has new and exciting activities this year – as well as some old favorites.
New for 2011 is the Avid 4 Adventure climbing wall. We’ve wanted to have the wall be a part of the Kid’s Zone for years so we’re thrilled that it finally happened. Also, this year you can be your own t-shirt designer! The Jewish Fest kids t-shirts were designed so that the small, or not so small, artist can decorate to their hearts content. Buy your shirt at the Festival Information booth and come on over!
And last, but certainly not least, Gaga is back! On loan this year from Shwayder Camp is the mobile Gaga pit. The J-teen teens will help guide all ages through the world of Gaga so amateur and expert alike should feel free to join us.
See you on Sunday!
Wow – it’s really June and the Boulder Jewish Festival is just a little over a week away!
The final planning meeting for the committee is on Monday, June 6 at 6 pm at the Boulder JCC. This meeting also includes day of event volunteers – we’ll be finalizing the schedule for the day of event (who is doing what that day). Volunteers are always welcome – bring a friend!
A few things we can use help with in the final week:
- Spread the word – email, facebook, whatever networks you use – please tell a friend!
- Flyers – we have flyers to be put up around town (Boulder, Longmont, Louisville, Erie, Superior, Broomfield, Westminster, Denver) – in bagel shops, delis and other similar locations.
- Tell more friends!
Most local organizations can use help at their booths too. You can see the list of organizations by clicking the link under “Community” in the top menu bar.
The t-shirts look great, the food lineup is FAB, the kids zone will be so fun, the organizations are set, the artists are prepping and the entertainment – what can we say? This year will ROCK! Get ready!
