Jewish Women in the Arts

Mizel Museum and the L.E.A Chapters of Hadassah held the annual Jewish Women in the Arts event on May 16.  Several Boulder Jewish Festival artists were selected to present at this recent event:

  • Ann Lederer individually designs and paints her wearable art with French dyes.
  • Arel Mishory is inspired by Judaism to create her art as “avoda”, service to G-d.
  • Deb Fine uses pearls, silver, gems, crystals and glass to design jewelry to be worn every day.
  • Elise Zall finds the latest trends in semi-precious stones to make her unique jewelry.
  • Joy Weinstein, local Boulder glass artist, creates jewelry using dichroic glass to capture the ultimate color experience.
  • Terri LeRose paints original watercolors based on her research of different cultures.
