Jammin’ Pearl Street June 8

What a lineup for this year’s Boulder Jewish Festival! Get ready for a rocking good time!

Cowboy Hersh kicks off the Festival with a special set for the kiddos.

Next up is Sherefe, a local world music ensemble who play music from the Balkans and the Middle East.

Spiritual musician Mikey Pauker has been breathing life into Jewish music for years. His music spans multiple genres including folk, pop, hip-hop electronica, and reggae, blending them into a beautiful uplifting, and unique sound.

Pauker was named by ‘Time Magazine‘ as one of the top 10 stars of new Jewish Music, putting him in company with Craig Taubman Maccabeats, and Michelle Citrin.

Check him out:

Boulder Klezmer Consort, led by local favorite Sheldon Sands, returns this year with their festival-favorite klezmer set.

“Off Lines” is a refreshing and unique duo collaboration between brilliant young jazz pianist Guy Mintus and renowned composer, percussionist, oudist & vocalist Yinon Muallem. Yinon is an Israeli musician who has made his home base in Istanbul, Turkey, living there for the past 12 years. In Turkey, Yinon has so far released 6 albums being highly acclaimed for reviving ancient turkish musical forms while combining it with Jewish music elements. Offlines performance is supported by Israel’s Office of Cultural Affairs and the Consulate General of Israel in New York.

Or Zimrah, the Band of Congregation Har HaShem, rounds out the Festival lineup.

Which of these performers has never – in 20 years! – missed playing at the Boulder Jewish Festival?
